Beginner's Guide – Combat Section

Let’s take a quick look at how combat works:

1. Class Overview

There are five main classes in the game: Warrior, Mage, Assassin, Ranger, and Priest.

  • Warrior: High HP and defense, excels at tanking damage.
  • Mage: High burst damage, specializes in AoE skills but has low survivability.
  • Assassin: Fast and deadly, masters in high single-target damage.
  • Ranger: Balanced stats with high speed, often strikes first in battle.
  • Priest: Focuses on healing and buffs; low direct damage output.

Some heroes also serve unique roles like damage boosters or crowd-control specialists. You can preview each hero's abilities and bio in the Hero Recruitment screen.

2. Elemental Affinities

Each hero belongs to one of six elements: Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, Dark, and Light.

  • Water beats Fire, Fire beats Wind, Wind beats Earth, Earth beats Water.
  • Dark and Light counter each other.

Attacking an enemy with a weaker element deals 20% bonus damage. Smart elemental matchups can turn the tide of battle.

3. Team Setup

  • Access: Main Screen → Lineup or via Adjust Lineup buttons in gameplay modes.
  • You can preset up to 3 squads for quick deployment.
  • Teams are divided into Front Row and Back Row; front-row heroes take the brunt of enemy attacks.
  • Up to 5 heroes can be deployed per team. Strategic lineup combinations unlock powerful synergies.

Recommended Basic Setup: 2 frontliners (tanks), 2 damage dealers, and 1 healer.
Adapt your team depending on enemy composition—for instance, bring a cleanser if facing heavy crowd control, or a healing debuff specialist if facing multiple healers.
As your hero roster grows, build synergy-based combos for maximum impact.

4. Battle Positioning

  • Two rows: front and back, each with left, center, and right positions.
  • Heroes prioritize attacking enemies directly opposite them in the front row first.
  • Once the opposing front row is defeated, attacks target the back row in the same column.

Pro Tip: Let your key heroes take some hits early on.
Heroes gain Rage when attacking or being attacked, and full Rage enables powerful ultimate skills. By positioning main carries to absorb manageable damage, they can charge ultimates faster and cast more often, helping eliminate enemy threats early.
Scout enemy formations pre-battle, place your damage dealers opposite weaker enemies, and adjust row placement according to enemy targeting skills for maximum advantage.

5. Battle Blessings

Before battle begins, divine energy particles will appear.
Tap the screen to collect them—after 10 seconds, you'll receive three random blessings that boost attack, defense, or speed.
The more particles you collect and the more precise your timing, the stronger the blessing effects.

6. Turn Order

  • Heroes act based on Speed stats;
  • If speeds are equal, the turn order is randomly decided.

7. Rage Generation

  • Each hero has a Rage cap of 100.
  • Upon reaching full Rage, their next action triggers an Ultimate Skill.
  • Basic attacks generate 40 Rage.
  • Taking skill damage grants 20 Rage.
  • Some abilities can alter Rage values directly.

8. Skill Usage

Every hero performs a basic attack on their turn.
If Rage is full, they will unleash their Ultimate Skill instead, consuming all Rage.

9. Skill Targeting Rules

  • Unless otherwise specified, skills target the corresponding enemy directly across in the front row.
  • If no front-row enemy is present, the targeting priority is: Front Left → Front Center → Front Right.
  • Once the front row is cleared, heroes will attack the back row following the same priority.
